Passenger Air
- Washington-Warren Field Airport (OCW) is a general aviation, full-service airport owned and operated by the City of Washington. It proudly supports both corporate and recreational aviation serving Beaufort County and the surrounding region. With a recent $33.5 million allocation from the state budget for expansion, Washington-Warren Field is poised to become a state-of-the-art aviation facility—enhancing connectivity and economic opportunity across the area.
- Coastal Carolina Regional Airport located in New Bern just 30 minutes south of Washington, offers convenient commercial air service. Passengers can access daily flights via American Airlines to Charlotte Douglas International Airport and via Delta Airlines to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport—connecting Beaufort County to global destinations.
- Pitt-Greenville Airport located less than 30 minutes from Beaufort County, provides convenient commercial service with daily American Airlines flights to Charlotte Douglas International Airport—offering easy connections to destinations worldwide.
- Raleigh-Durham International Airport is located approximately 120 minutes from Beaufort County and offers over 400 daily flights through major U.S. carriers. The airport also provides international service to destinations including London, Paris, and Toronto—making global travel easily accessible.
- Supporting the efficient movement of people and goods, U.S. Highway 264 is a four-lane divided highway that runs east–west through Beaufort County, offering direct access to Greenville and connecting the region to major interstates including I-587, I-95, and I-40.
- U.S. Highway 17 runs north–south through the county as a four-lane divided highway, providing direct connections to regional hubs. The highway remains four-lane along much of its route toward Norfolk, Virginia, and Morehead City, North Carolina.
