Fire Marshal

The Office of the Fire Marshal is responsible for enforcing the North Carolina Fire Prevention Code, conducting fire inspections, reviewing plans for new building construction with the exception of private use agricultural buildings and residential homes I and II, fire/arson investigations, county fire departments coordination, and hazardous materials response. The Fire Marshal's Office operates during regular business hours for routine services but is on call 24 hours daily.
